King Tennis had an amazing weekend as they dominated at the 2019 Pete Brown “First Serve Girls High School Team Tournament.

Match play began against Rosemead, where singles players, Katie Lucius, Samantha Quezada, and Bella Doup -Connor and doubles teams of Jaslyn Gines/Hyunjin Rheem, Seeta Patel/Thais Olvera, and Jenny Noh/Erica Zomalt all took care of business and gave the Wolves a perfect 6-0 victory.

The next round against Esperanza produced another clean 6-0 sweep with Humairaa Syed/Joanne Teh filling in for Zomalt and Noh.

In round three, the score was 5-1 against Garden Grove with Emma Anderson subbing in for Doup-Conner in singles.

Finally, in the Championship match, the Lady Wolves going back to their original starting line-up clenched the 1st place title with a 5-1 victory over Capistrano.

This brings King Tennis to an 8-1 record overall.
