The boys tennis team started 2nd round Big VIII action yesterday against the Roosevelt Mustangs.
It was a challenge for King, especially on the doubles side of the competition.
“We saw very competitive doubles teams that allowed our guys to challenge themselves winning 6 of the 9 sets” said head coach Shaun Harris.
But the Singles players took the spotlight again with Jaeson Kim and Austin Harvill sweeping and Brendan Provance getting 2 of his 3 for a total of 8 sets of the 9.
“I was very proud of the team and their hard work towards the 14-4 win” Harris said. “We do have areas to improve that we will focus on and take into our last 5 matches to get ready for CIF. “
