In our second home game of the season, JV and Varsity both recorded a win against Hemet.

JV scored a team record of 10 points in a commanding 10-7 win Peyton Scrambray, an attack player, was our leading scorer with 3 goals. Maddie Strack, defender, kept Hemet’s offense at bay with the recovery of 4 ground balls. This is a first year team that has proven to be competitive with teams that have 5 plus years experience. They are and exciting group to watch and the future of Lady Wolves Lacrosse is very bright.

The Varsity team pulled of a nail biting 7-6 win over Hemet. This was an all around team effort from every Lady Wolf that took the field.

Dylan Goodson was a constant disruption to Hemet’s offense, creating 4 turnovers at crucial moments in the game. If that wasn’t enough to discourage the Hemet offense, then the 9 blocked shots by our goalie, Marlena Martinez had to send them over the edge. The most exciting part of the game, and I swear if was Deja vu was watching Bianca Chavez score the same game winning goal that she did with Hemet last year. Same angle, same end of the field with 5 seconds left in the game.

The talent on this team will continue to improve all season long. A coaches dream.
