RIVERSIDE:  On Thursday night, the Lady Wolves finished off an undefeated league season, besting Santiago 72 to 44.  They finished with an overall record of 26-1, 10-0 in league to become back to back to back league champions.

This is the first time in the 20 seasons of playing ball at King that the Lady Wolves have won back to back to back league titles.  King now awaits to see where they will be placed come playoff time.  They have a chance to be one of the top 8 teams in the state and getting into the open division.  Although it would be a huge challenge, it would be an honor to be selected as one of the best in the state.

Danita Young and Oliva Moran led the Lady Wolves last night in scoring and rebounding.  Young scored 18 pts and 13 rebounds, while Olivia Moran dropped 22 points and 11 rebounds.

After the game, point guard Alexis Mead mentioned to the team that she was proud of them all and is looking forward to a strong playoff run.
