EASTVALE: The Lady Wolves traveled to Eleanor Roosevelt on Tuesday and “managed” to win, 17-1.
“The team played well, but it seemed like we were a bit muddling through. They found a way to win” Coach Gagnon said, after watching another lopsided victory for her squad that challenged the players more on the mental side, perhaps, than on the physical.
“We can still work on being prepared mentally and physically to play. Taking the appropriate steps to ready themselves for the match…easy or not” she added.
“Easy” seems to have been the apt description of the last several opponents King has faced. But sometimes the “easy” is actually the most difficult of all.
