James Stufkosky really elevated his leadership role on and off the court this season. Our King Boys’ Volleyball Program chose James for their King High School’s Character Counts Representative for his ability to have class and integrity as a student-athlete and captain of our team.
James started playing volleyball his sophomore year, which was King’s first year of volleyball for the boys’ program. He is a competitive athlete that spent many hours in the off season preparing for his senior year. James efforts in the off-season have contributed significantly in allowing King to compete with the best teams in CIF. James has played a huge role in bringing King their first top finish in league and a playoff berth in CIF.
James combines hard work and great sense of humor, on and off the court, which sets a great tone for our team. His teammates respect him for all that he brings to them. As a captain, he has taken on a lot of responsibilities to help the program grow and develop.
In addition to volleyball, James is very active in ASB and other school functions. He has never missed a practice, team event, or senior meeting.
