Multiple Teams · KING COACHES, A.D.’s HONORED BY RIVERSIDE SPORT HALL OF FAME

Written by John Corona

This past Saturday, January 21, four long time members of the Martin Luther King High athletic department were inducted onto the Riverside Sports Hall of Fame (RSHOF) “Wall of Distinction.”

14 year Athletic Director Tony Masi; King’s first baseball coach, Rich Graves ; Girls Tennis coach Becky Gagnon and boys and Girls Cross Country coach Brad Peters  joined some 16 other  Riverside college and high school coaches and athletic administrators from across several generations, in being honored at the mid-day ceremony held at the Riverside City Council Chambers.

The RSHOF Wall of Distinction recognizes those athletes, coaches and contributors who have excelled at a local, national or international level of competition and who have brought fame and honor to Riverside through their involvement in athletics. It is plainly evident that these four King coaches/teachers /administrators have done just that.
