ONE WIN AWAY FROM PERFECTION

ggolf 1011

With a mathematical league title secured last week, all that was left for the King girls golf team to do was finish out their season, seeking two more wins to make it one marked by a perfect record.

After a 100 point margin on Tuesday over Corona (229-329), they are within one more match of their goal.

With the Sjoerdsma sisters leading much of the season’s competition, on this day against the Panthers, the team was led by Rebecca Hawes who hit a 42.

The team’s record stands now at 13-0 and 9-0 in league.

Centennial is all that is left this season prior to the CIF rounds, and that final challenge to their perfect season will drop on Thursday.
